Love, Lessons, and Leveling Up
Before the door opened, I felt my hands shaking and my heart beating out of my chest. I took a few deep breaths and told myself, “Its time.” With my veil clipped to my braided bun I gently pulled it over my face. The door opened and I heard my entrance song “Fall For You” by Leela James. I also heard a gasp from my family and friends in awe as I entered the ceremony. I saw my brothers and we locked arms. A brief pause then I took my first steps. All I see is my love at the end of the aisle in tears. I knew I was ready. Everything behind me no longer mattered yet it led me to this very moment. I am stepping into my new life, my future. No hesitation no fear.
