I’m Meosha and welcome to my blog Shift2Thirty! So, to kick this off I want to share a little bit about me. I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO and by the time you’re reading this I am Thirty-Tr2ue years old. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Nonprofit Leadership. My experience ranges from programming for youth and young adults, event management, and currently I’m working in community development for a wealth management firm. I married the love of my life last year on August 12, 2022, and I’m a bonus boy mom. I love trying new wines, comfortable jogging pants, making charcuterie and cheeseboards, going for long walks, traveling, having long intimate conversations about life, and listening to my playlist that consists of 90s and 2000’s jams with some new music too. My self-care routine consists of journaling, doing daily devotionals, monthly facials, watching my “comfort” movies and spending time with loved ones. Starting a blog has been on my heart for years and I view it as a passion project. I was hesitant to release this because so many talented people have blogs or are doing something similar. How will mine be different? It’s different because it’s authentically me. I knew if I held on to it any longer and waited for the right time, it would pass me by. Often, working and waiting for perfection can lead to complacency. At this big age I am done being afraid of me and using perfectionism as an excuse to not step into my greatness and utilize my God given gifts. Now, what is “Shift2Thirty?”
